What's New for Spring 2010
Watch for these new features on our website! We have listened to your requests and hope that these upgrades to our website will make your life that much easier! Read on below for the descriptions and instructions for these new features.
My Account Updates
In an effort to increase the usefulness of your My Account page and make everything more readily available at the click of your mouse, we have updated the look of your My Account page. All of the old features and functions are still there, we just gave it a new more logically laid out look.
Look for the Tabs
The left-hand menu of the My Account page has been restructured to make everything easier to find and see. In addition to the left-hand menu we have also added tabs to the top of almost every section on your My Account page. This will reduce the number of clicks and the amount of scrolling you have to do.
Changes to Book Sets
If you are one of the many users that like to order our book sets then you will love these new changes.
New Book Set detail pages
The contents of the book sets will now display on set detail pages similar to what single books do. These new set detail pages will allow us to display more information specific to that set and still display the contents including the Add Buttons and the Manage My Collection circles.
Check Duplicates feature
Located with the other blue buttons at the bottom of your main My Account page, this new feature will show you if you have duplicate copies of any items contained within a list and allow you to easily remove them with a click of a button. No more hunting and pecking!
Print with or without Set Contents
Printouts now default to display only the single title of the set. This will save space and paper on your printouts as well as make it easier for purchasing departments to key in fewer numbers. If you want to print your list including all of the titles within a set-we can do that too! Just check the box labeled "Contents of Sets" in the Print Optional Information section on the final print options page.
Book Buttons
These multi-colored icons will make finding the special book formats easier. The following "Book Buttons" will appear next to the cover image, on the Quick View pop-up window, on the Title Detail screens, and within your lists. Simply perform a search and scan down the page for these buttons to find the format you want. Watch the site for the Book Buttons shown below!

Jump Start
Save time building your next list!
We have developed a new feature that will take all of the remaining items that could not ship from your last order and place them in a new list on your account automatically for you.
For instance, those titles that were not available within your required shipping timeline and were not included on your order will now be ready and on a list that you can easily merge with your next order.

Easy Search
The new way to search!
This new search feature is designed with one thing in mind-to save you time! Easy Search is designed to allow input of any one of the following types of search criteria and bring back the matching results. So that means no more toggling back and forth between the other search methods.
- Language
- Bilingual
- LCCN Number
- Topic
- Subject
- Type
- Review Text
- Title
- Author
- Publisher
- PB Catalog number
- ISBN Number
- Series
- Description
Then the results it brings back will be automatically sorted and displayed according to their relevance to your search criteria. We use a strict criteria matching program in conjunction with a title weighting system to bring back the results that you want to see right at the top of your search.
You can use the following Boolean operator words and/or symbols to broaden or narrow down your search even further.
- AND
- OR
- NOT
- + (addition symbol)
- - (subtraction symbol)
- "Quotation marks"
Where is it?
You can find Easy Search in the upper right-hand corner of every page of our site. Just click on the drop-down box with 'Title' in it and select Easy Search at the bottom of that list.
