Individualization: Test-out feature assesses the learner's listening vocabulary and places the student in correct English in a Flash Library and Chapter.
Academic Vocabulary: Develops Basic Interpersonal Communication Skills (BICS) and Cognitive Academic Proficiency (CALP).
Listening Comprehension: Builds listening comprehension by providing the learner with large amounts of comprehensible input.

Accelerated Reader Integration: After Chapter 9, students have the vocabulary necessary to read Accelerated Reader books; the number of books increases with every chapter.

How does it work?

English in a Flash first teaches vocabulary words before placing them in grammatical context. Learners are provided the comprehensible input consisting of multiple exposures to vocabulary and grammatical structures. 4,000+ words are taught directly and 1,500+ words indirectly.
